Description: A piece of subject matter in nature that is deconstructed into various forms of data ilustrations surrounding that subject matter and then reconstructed in a collage of multiple images on one sheet. The illustrations are created on the computer and then drawn with a homemade xy plotter. The plotter consists of a Raspberry Pi 3, single stepping motors and a belt. The Pen is a white marker pen and draws on black card.
Sessile Oak’s are Ireland’s national tree. The oak was sacred to many gods including the Celtic Dagda as the trees were often hit by lightning as they would be the tallest living feature in the landscape.
